Anxiety & Depression Counselling in Coquitlam

Practical, compassionate support — in person or online anywhere in BC

Anxiety can make every day feel like an emergency. Depression can drain the colour from things that used to matter. Both are among the most common — and most treatable — mental health challenges, and you do not have to manage them alone.

You may be experiencing

  • Constant worry, racing thoughts or a sense of dread
  • Panic attacks or fear of having another one
  • Perfectionism, overthinking or difficulty sleeping
  • Low mood, loss of interest, or feeling empty and unmotivated
  • Stress and burnout from work, caregiving or life pressures
  • Irritability, isolation or withdrawing from people you love

How therapy helps

Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, we work together to understand what keeps anxiety or depression going — and build practical tools that create real change.

Therapy can help you break cycles of worry and avoidance, respond to difficult thoughts without being ruled by them, rebuild energy and motivation, and reconnect with the values and relationships that make life meaningful.

Support that fits your life

Sessions are available in person at our Coquitlam office or by secure video across British Columbia. Many clients start with a free 20-minute phone consultation to see whether counselling feels like the right fit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I need counselling for anxiety or depression?

If worry, low mood or stress has persisted for weeks, interferes with work, sleep or relationships, or simply feels heavier than you should have to carry alone, counselling can help. You do not need a crisis to deserve support.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor I provide talk therapy and evidence-based counselling techniques. If medication might be helpful, I can work alongside your family doctor or psychiatrist.

Are sessions available online?

Yes. Secure video sessions are available to clients anywhere in British Columbia, and many people find online therapy just as effective as meeting in person.
